Today it’s a bit chillier than was predicted…it’s 57 degrees and has been overcast all day—but I suppose the rain has something to do with that. Although, it didn’t start raining until about the time that school got out, of course! It’s stopped for the moment, but I’m sure it’ll pick up again sometime.

I’m not sure why, but today seemed to drag on forever, starting with 2A. We took a look at workbook page and asked the class what characters liked doing which activities. Then we played a “game” I which I described a picture and they had to guess which one it was. Later, I wrote the sentences on the board, for example “Nick likes swimming and playing cards.”

We played a game of BINGO in 6B and then we corrected several workbook pages. It took a really long time and was rather boring.

I’m drawing a complete blank on what we did in five-years B. I remember singing our HELLO welcome song and that Espe gave out stickers to some of the kids, but I don’t remember what for! Whatever it was, it must not have been to exciting…

The four-year-olds did the worksheet where they had to finishing tracing already half traced shapes to form different objects, like a flower, car and a house. Then it was coloring time, naturally! And this one little kiddo came up to me and was like “cinco y cinco son diez!” It was so cute! He was so proud of himself for knowing that…smart little guy!

I’ve got class with Raúl at four and then I need to go to the store after that. We have to go to Ciudad Real tomorrow to renew our NIEs for next year and I want to get some more apples and raisins or something to bring, since the bus leaves at 6:45 (which is way too early!) and we won’t get about until about three-ish tomorrow afternoon.

Xoxo,
Court
