HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!! LOVE YOU, MOM!!! <3  It’s celebrated on the first Sunday in Spain, so today feels more like it than next Sunday, since I’m so out of touch with happenings at home! And it’s May Day too, it’s a twofer! (Is that a real word, and if so, how do you spell it??)

Well another month has ended and a new has begun. May marks the last month of our program; we finish on the 31! Wow, I can’t believe this school year is winding down…it doesn’t feel like I’ve been here for seven months!

It’s been mostly sunny and 65 today, which is a change from the last few days. It rained on and off Friday and yesterday, and with the rain came wind and chillier weather, so I’m glad it’s sunny again! I didn’t enjoy walking to mass in the rain last night, but I had thought it would keep raining, so I still went… although by the time it was over, the rain has lessened to a drizzle and by the time I got home (within like ten minutes) it had stopped altogether—well for a brief period of time, at least!
