Today it’s 73 and partly cloudy, with a mild wind…but it’s not bad.

5B was finishing up their Prehistory posters, like 5A yesterday, so I didn’t do a whole lot with in the class. No, I take that back, before they started on the posters we corrected three homework pages, which I went over with them.

With the fourth years I talked a little bit about Memorial Day—I found a simple five slide PowerPoint, which we discussed quickly. We also talked about the European Union, because I think EU Day is coming up soon or it was recently???

We played a memory game with 1A, having to do with parts of the body and numbers seven-ten. They had to draw and color each vocab word and cut them out. Then they got together with a partner and laid the pieces out for the game. It took nearly the whole class for some to draw the pictures! I kept hearing things like “I don’t know how to draw arms/legs/hands…” and “This (the picture) is ugly.”

I’ve got class with Raúl at four and then Pilar at six. I made plans to Skype with one of Alicia’s classes at three (in 12 minutes) but I’m not sure if we’ll end up doing it or not…she never emailed me back after I emailed just to confirm we were still on…it remains o be seen.

Xoxo,
Court
