Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad…29 years, wow, that’s a lot!

Today it’s mostly sunny and 73 degrees, not bad!

Yesterday I went with Pilar and her family out to the countryside. We left here at 12:30ish and didn’t get back until midnight! It was fun though, because I was able to meet like every member of her family—she has a ton of cousins—and many of her friends, too!

We eat roasted bits of lamb of lunch, I think about three o’clock. It was really good, except I burned my fingers trying to get a huge hunk off of my fork! We went and met up with some of her friends at about six. They had found this little niche among the trees and set up away from everyone else. That was super fun, except it started to storm at like eight and so we sat in someone’s car for like an hour!

They dropped us back off at Pilar’s family’s tent around 9:30 and we had more lamb—this time ribs—for dinner. I was super tired and cold (because we got rained on a little bit before we decided to head for the cars). It was so hot during the day, but after the sun when down, it was sure chilly!  We packed up and got back here right about midnight.

Today has been “un día de relax” and I haven’t even been outside! I think I’m gonna keep it that way, as I don’t really feel like going anywhere!
