Nothing worth noting happened over my weekend, thus, I’ve skipped those days.

Today it’s 79 and cloudless, and what’s more is that there’s nothing but sunshine in the forecast over the next few days!

Today was a little on the boring side…I got to 6C first thing and María said they had an exam and there was really nothing I could do, so I left. Luckily, since it’s Monday (meaning I have a regularly scheduled free hour) I brought a book—The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (which I bought in the Berlin airport)—so I went to the Sala de Profes and read.

2B had listened to their latest story on CD, but hadn’t answered the questions, so I was able to ask them those. Then we listened to this activity in which they had to put the story in the correct sequence. The CD plays fun music in between each line and so I was bopping my head/dancing in place every time the music played. I don’t know if that’s frowned upon or what but one of the kids looked at Fran and was like “Profe, Corni está bailando.” I guess even seven-year-olds can be sticks in the mud too.

In one of the third years (3A) I was actually able to read FOUR sentences to the class! Granted, I had to stop mid-sentence and in between several times to get their attention, but it’s pretty much a victory! Lourdes was mad because only four out of 19 passed their latest science exam. SHOCKING...not!

I went to lunch with the possé—they’ve changed to Sastre for something different…Stone was getting a little old, as they always have the same menu. Since it’s so near the supermarket, on my way home I picked up another six pack of milk (I drink so much more milk than the average Spaniard!).

Xoxo,
Court
