It’s mostly sunny and 70 today, with a slight wind, but overall it’s a beautiful day!

I was able to do most of the activities with 5B today; though it wasn’t anything special…reading from the book and asking questions, checking homework and assigning more. At least I was able to interact with them.

The fourth years are learning about means of transportation (bus, train, truck, motorcycle…) and so I looked up pictures of real ones (the pictures from their books were cartoon images) and explained them to the classes. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of typing in the word “motorboat” to Google images and…well, let’s just say that a picture of a boat wasn’t the first thing that popped up! Luckily Spaniards aren’t too uptight about nudity, and if Rocío saw it (because yes, or course, the projector had to be on!) she didn’t say anything. Menos mal!

We did this worksheet in 1A where they had to match the correct number to the corresponding number of animals and then color them. Later we played hangman to review vocab words from several units.

I have class with Raúl at four and then with Pilar at six. I’m gonna go make a salad for dinner, because I’m always hungry after my classes with Pilar and never am patient enough to cook anything right then!
