It’s mainly cloudy today; although it’s 77 degrees, it looks like it could rain sometime. When I was walking home from Pilar’s yesterday she said it looked like it was going to rain. I never heard it, but it must have at some point during the night because the streets were wet this morning.
I did very little at school. I got there and Marisa, the 4A teacher, told me that Fran hadn’t come today (for whatever reason), so I went to the Sala de Profes and read more about proper posture in school…quite boring!
I went over a page of homework with 6B and later we read a story about a guy named Nesreddin who used a pot to teach his neighbor a lesson. Finally, we listened to this “Happy Birthday” song, which was rather silly.
I left for the day after 6B because infantil is in Madrid on a field trip. I went to the store to pick up a few things before coming home. I’m not sure if I have class this afternoon or not. When I got to their house for Raúl’s class yesterday, Paqui told me he had forgotten his books at school and therefore had nothing to study. She said if he remembered his books today she’d call me. We’ll see…
Xoxo,
Court
