Well, today has been kind of a bust—thank you, Mr. Rain! I went to school only to find out that our parade had been canceled. We still had churros con chocolate, at least, and that was really yummy! There was really nothing else for me to do…even though they’re having regular classes, I have no schedule…so I came home about ten.

I can still meet with Carmen, though, so that’s good! She’s picking me up at 11:15 and we’re going to church to kiss the feet of Jesus! I know it’s a tradition, I just don’t know if it’s always March 4, or if it’s the start of carnaval or in anticipation for Lent. Hopefully I can find that out! I imagine we’ll go back to her house after that for some convo, but that remains to be seen.

Now that I have the better part of the day free, I’m not sure what to do with myself this afternoon! Dani came over last night and we were talking and he said he was going to the English movie playing tonight (as part of Eloy’s group, I found out!). So I called Eloy to see if I had to sign up or could still come and he said I could; so we’re going to that at six! It’s The Incredible Hulk this week. It should be interesting because I’ve never seen it/know nothing about it, but a movie in English? Heck yeah, dude!

Oh and of course now that the parade’s already been canceled, the sun has won the latest battle over the rain and is currently shining. Only time will tell who will win the today’s war…I’m rooting for the sun!

Xoxo,
Court
