Today’s been quite a lazy one! We went out last night and celebrated the 60s and 70s (the carnaval theme for the night…it was far out!). I came back about four and therefore slept until about 11. But I stayed in bed until about 2:30 playing and dinking around on the computer. I didn’t shower until four o’clock and was intending on going to mass, but then the last and biggest parade (de comparsas) started and we were watching that for about 2.5 hours, so I didn’t go tonight!

I just put some lentils on and I’ll let those cook for a couple hours and then probably just go to bed. Gunita and Tere were talking earlier during the parade about going out (since it’s the final night of carnaval) but I don’t really feel like it—especially if I’m going to mass tomorrow morning and plus I don’t really feel like drinking tonight…I drank enough last night!
