The temperature isn’t too bad today; it’s about 50 right now. They’ve been calling for rain for the past several days, but we didn’t see any until today (not that it was a lot, though). I was getting ready to leave school and Rocío was like “it’s raining”. It was more like spitting every now and then…not even enough to pull out my umbrella.

Today was pretty monotonous. With fourth and fifth levels (first, second, fourth and fifth hours) I talked about Saint Patrick. We went over the PowerPoint, talked about some vocab (shamrock, rainbow, pot of gold, etc), watched a few short video clips and sang this song I found “He Lived Under a Rainbow” sung to the tune of B-I-N-G-O. And Rocío told me that there’s another teacher coming from Ireland next week! That should be interesting!

The only class that was different today was 1A. We talked about different/new animals (giraffe, squirrel, turtle, bee, etc). We then played a game where the students had to come up to the front of the class and act out an animal for the rest to guess!

One more day in the work week! Ahh, and I’m gonna have to make sure to wear green tomorrow…Whilst talking about SPD, I kinda made a big deal about getting pinched if ya don’t!

Xoxo,
Court
