What a wet Wednesday! It has been raining the entire day—AGAIN! I haven’t left the house today. However, Arturo and I did make some Soda Cracker Toffee (thanks for the recipe, mom!). Instead of pecans I used walnuts, because I couldn’t find any, but other than that, it’s really good…just like I remember! I’m going to take it to school tomorrow, or what’s left of it, (of course we all just had to taste it!) so the Spaniards at school can get a little taste of holiday baking—American style! I think we’re going to dinner in a nearby town—Ilu’s town—to visit her and Oscar. Other than that, that’s pretty much it for today. Tomorrow is the only day of work for the week…I think I can handle that!
